The project was aimed at solving three key objectives: automating inventory accounting, improving the quality of customer service, and AIDC managemeng solution implementation. As part of the project, a combination of equipment was successfully integrated:

  • MEFERI ME40K Data Collection Terminals for accurate and fast inventory accounting.

The comprehensive approach allowed for the achievement of significant results across several areas simultaneously:

  • For the Business: Increased accuracy of inventory accounting, reduced time for inventory-taking, and lower operating costs.
  • For the Customers: Shoppers gained instant access to product price information via the price checker.

Protection and Ergonomics The ME40K ULTRALITE meets the IP67 protection standard – the terminal is resistant to dust, moisture, and drops from a height of and keypad ensure ease of use, even when working with gloves.

Autonomy Autonomy for the ME40K ULTRALITE is provided by a 5180 mAh battery with EnergyBooster+ technology battery, which offers up to 12 hours of continuous operation. If necessary, the battery can be easily removed and swapped for a spare one.

This compact price checker allows customers to independently scan product barcodes to instantly find out the price, promotions, and composition. Its implementation not only improved the customer experience but also reduced the workload on the staff.
